INTRODUCTION
Aakori is the passion brainchild of Anita Bhattacharya and Chandrima Bhattacharyya. Both are artists from Santiniketan; Anita is a National Scholarship winner in Sculpture from the Ministry of Culture and Chandrima is a 2 times Fellowship winner in Painting from the Ministry of Culture. Both of them continue to work on their respective fields of Sculpture and Painting .
All the jewellery from Aakori are 100 per cent designed and hand made by the artists, mostly in silver and semiprecious gems and glass/ bone/ ceramic beads. there will also be other pieces made in brass and copper and enamel work.
ABOUT SHOP OWNER
AAKORI was born when two old friends, both artists - a sculptor and a painter - discovered a common passion and desire; and that was, to create jewellery. Especially silver jewellery.
Melting down their own cherished silver possessions, they launched their own brand - 'aakori by Anita and Chandrima'. it's a venture and an adventure for both, putting every available minute away from their busy careers and domesticity, and working diligently in their tiny garage-space-studio, hammering, cutting and welding to create a new piece every time. Their jewellery are little pieces of art, crafted with love with their own hands, out of silver and semiprecious stones.
The pieces are targeted at a discerning clientele, who appreciate finer things in life and respect hand made articles.
Being created by two contemporary artists, every piece of jewellery made at aakori has a rustic yet global appeal.
SHIPPING POLICY
All orders will be shipped in 3-4 working days via courier.
REFUND POLICY
jewellery once sold are not returnable, though any ensuing damage may be repaired by us if the jewellery is sent in damage proof packaging to us, and will be shipped back at our expense.
ADDITIONAL POLICY
Each designer piece is not 100% duplicable. There may be slight changes in shape or weight and stones/beads depending upon availability. In case of exact duplicates time must be given to aakori for acquiring the similar gems or beads. Bulk orders in multiples of 10-15 are doable
