Painting has changed the way I look at the world. It allows me to express beauty using my own imagination and fantasy in interpreting what I see. I express my imagination on a two-dimensional surface using acrylics, innovative distressing techniques, unconventional texturing materials and, when inspired, Tribal Indian art practices. Recently my focus has been the beauty of the sea, landscapes, plants, flowers and animals, but I do not restrict myself in terms of subject. A painting is complete only when it satisfies my vision and quenches my thirst for expression.
