Exquisitely hand painted set of 3 Armenian wall plates. Size(diameter)of each plate : 10 inches . Inspired by Armenian Folk Art, this collection of 3 exquisitely hand painted wall plates traces this ancient culture from the end of the fourth millennium B.C., through contemporary Armenian wedding ceremonies wherein "the bridegroom, in his role as king during the wedding ritual" becomes "transformed miraculously, once in his lifetime, into the symbolic defender of the Armenian people". Note: Real beads have been added onto the plate to give it an authentic feel.
