A Kasavu Saree in cotton with handpainted Madhubani. The saree is a piece of art in itself with handpainted motifs typical to Mithila style of painting. The people of Madhubani - a small hamlet in Bihar - usually make these paintings on the walls of their houses to beautify them. This art is now practised on fabric, canvas and other medium.
This is an elegant and aesthetically handpainted saree where the artisan has tried to bring out his imagination in vivid colours. The saree has a different persona of its own and makes the wearer look graceful. It comes with a blouse in Golden colour handpainted in the same motifs as the saree.
