Indian pink khadi kurta with ikat detail on the neck and sleeves. The yarn has been dip dyed in white and black which shows up as flecks all over the fabric. The khadi yarn is handspun and then handwoven and it is the unevenness and minor imperfections of this process which gives the fabric its beautiful texture and fall. This natural fibre, coarsely spun is the most breathable and comfortable fabric of all, which only improves upon each washing. The khadi used in this collection has been woven in villages in Kerala. ABOUT Seamstress
Seamstress is quaint boutique store which started out in Thrissur, Kerala by Vimala Viswambharan & Rasmi Poduval.
