A design innovation to uplift extra-weft weaving in Bhuj, The peacock motifs are designed for the first time by woman weaver Champa Siju in Bhuj villages weaving technique.
The usual motifs are geometric shapes and this hut with peacock pair is totally new in this market. Not only this, we have, for the first time, made stoles with handspun kala cotton yarns in weft direction. The usual practice is to make it with mill made yarn as it is much easier to weavers and cost friendly. The hemline is made with interesting hand made pom-poms. Striped body gives it a contemporary look.

Indigo Amour means love for color Indigo. This is how the brand was started - design with eco-friendly natural dyes on handloom fabrics.
We make casual dresses, tops and stoles using organic Kala Cotton (desi kapaas) with khadi process where yarn is spun by hand and not machines.
We also make hand embroidery based draped sarees and dresses in contemporary fashion. These are unique dresses that I drape myself in my studio. Each design is one piece only.
