'Lady at Window' captures the typical charm associated with North Kolkata. The body of the lamp consists of three windows, one in front and two on either side. Behind the window in front stands a lady catching a glimpse of the outside world. Her saree and ornaments represent affluence, which was common among North Kolkata residents. The windows on both sides are closed with the louvers distinctly visible. In North Kolkatan parlance these windows were known as 'khorkhoris' and is still present in old buildings. Khorkhoris are hand painted on the shade to complete the composition. Recommended bulb: Softone 15W 230V BC Recommended maintenance: Periodic gentle dusting with hard brush. Please do not wash with water and do not scratch the surface of the lamp body. Since this is handmade there can be variation between models. These models come with the shade of diameter 12 inches. Length of wire provided in 4 feet.
