ANANDA KARMAKAR
INTRODUCTION
From a very young age, I had this deep sense of connection with Nature, I was mesmerized by the wonders of flora and fauna. My art is inspired from a different world, of the pure and sacred beauty, heartwarming colors and elements of Nature. He wishes to depict the radiation of positive energy from each of his works. I've received the Rashtriya Kala Ratna Award from the Rashtriya Kala Parv, Rajasthan (2016), and the National Award from the Ministry of Health and Broadcast, Government of India (1993), among other recognitions. Karmakar has been a part of 29 exhibitions across India and is based out of Dehradun where he is the Head of Department and Assistant Professor at the Graphic Era University.
