INTRODUCTION
Atelier LÄlmitti is a ceramic studio started by artists Elodie Alexandre and Reyaz Badaruddin, currently based in Delhi. Together they create unique tableware and decorative objects for people to enjoy in their everyday life.
ABOUT SHOP OWNER
I was born in Ranchi. I went to Banaras Hindu university and then to Cardiff School of Art and Design to study ceramic.
My practice deal with the forms derived from architecture. From the architecture of the place I grew up to the architecture of the place I comes across while traveling.
I also enjoy making objects for daily use. With my partner Élodie Alexandre we are creating a simple range of functional potteries.
At the moment we are working from New Delhi and building our studio and home in Andretta, Himachal Pradesh.
