Born in 1980, Avik Chakraborty is a painter with a perspective to bring out the mystic beauty and moments of Indian mythology by way of lines and colors. His paintings are homage to great Indian Mythology and aims at making his canvases meaningful to even those who believe that they are illiterates in Art. He has painted some marvelous pieces which relate to the epic Mahabharata. These pieces include Visma- The Witness, The Blind King: Dritarastra and Kunti: The Royal Mother.
