INTRODUCTION
Curiocity is an amalgamation of clay and fashion. Being a ceramic artist, I love everything that is handcrafted right from clothes, platters, bowls, vases to fashion accessories and jewellery. So I thought why not let my two passion meet, jewellery and ceramics. This is how the brand was born. These unique and beautiful pieces are made with stoneware clay, dried for a day or two and then fired in the kiln for almost 10 hours. After this some of the pieces are glazed and re-fired at very high temperatures and some are just painted using various other mediums. Each piece of clay jewellery is trendy, quirky and so colourful that it will brighten up your day. Since each piece is molded by hand, it looks rustic and the imperfection in them makes them so exclusive and unique. A pair of earring takes hours for completion but they all receive the same amount of detailing and care. So ladies what are you waiting for come and take your pick.

' Curio'city' is an amalgamation of clay and fashion. All our pieces are designed and handcrafted. Each piece is made from a lump of clay that is carefully cured and treated to withstand high temperature.Â
The first step is to give shape and add texture to the clay. They are air dried for a couple of days and then slowly fired in the kiln at a temperature of around 1000C.Â
The fired pieces are then hand painted with colorful combinations of lead-free, non-toxic glazes. These pieces are then re-fired at 1200C for the glazes to mature. After the furnace cools to an appropriate temperature it's opened and what you see is the most fulfilling sight ever.Â
Lastly, these pieces are beaded and combined with wires, hooks, charms, and threads, which converts them into functional wear.Â
