Desi Almaree is our endeavor to understand multiple facets of what makes any women unique and curate distinctive weaves accordingly. The fusion of weaves and specific arts reflects many unique features of an individual. Here you will find a wide canvas of weaves, colourful, natural and more importantly one of a kind. From Linens, Jutes, Khadis, Tussars, Raw silks, Chanderis, Maheshwaris and also shibori, bagru & block-print techniques, you will find it all. This Almaree is full of exquisite handwoven - sarees, yardage and accessories like stoles, dupattas - making you a truly contemporary woman of today.Â
ABOUT SHOP OWNER
Medha Nevrekar is a true lover of Indian textile and varied weaves. The journey started way back in 2006 with the strong desire to pursue my passion made me jump from a cushy career in IT Consulting with one of the world’s leading consulting firms to working with weavers across India. This allowed me to be the much-desired bridge between wonderful creations of these artisans and like-minded people across the globe.
At Desi Almaree it’s our endeavor to understand multiple facets of what makes any women unique and curate distinctive weaves accordingly. This journey, while challenging has been extremely fulfilling.
SHIPPING POLICY
Shipping will be done through a reputed courier company only within 3 to 5 days.
REFUND POLICY
No exchange or return Returns can be made within 48 hours of receipt of the product ONLY in case of major damage or defects. Returned items must be unused, unwashed, unworn and undamaged with their original packaging (labels, hang tags, plastic wrap) intact. The refund process will be initiated once we have received the item and completed our quality check.
ADDITIONAL POLICY
Please keep in mind that all of our products are handmade / hand-weaved by artisans. Slight imperfections that do not compromise the aesthetics or functionality of the product and are normal. Every item is intrinsically unique due to the handmade/ hand-weaved nature of the product. Products are handcrafted in India
