INTRODUCTION
My abstract paintings are 'projects' in exploring how form emerges with the play of colour and texture. How stories begin to paint themselves through a process that is as much a mystery to the artist as it is to the viewer. My ‘action paintings’ are not planned in advance but progress as a dialogue between the artist and the space around him and the idea in contemplation. As an artist my primary engagement is with space and the semantics of colour and texture. And how together they create perception and imagery.
ABOUT SHOP OWNER
I am an artist who finds his calling in abstraction. I mostly use acrylics (on canvas) sometimes mixing them with other non-paint material to create new textures and feel to my paintings. As a painter I am fascinated with the idea of pareidolia where layers of different colours make up an irregular grid. This grid of colour creates form that changes with each viewing.
