dwij products uses post consumer jeans and post industrial denim to make multipurpose utility bags to fulfill shopping, office or travelling requirements, thus reducing the dependency on virgin canvas, jute, plastic or synthetic bags. We choose each element carefully, and maintain high hygiene standards to produce a fresh looking and long lasting bag. ABOUT SHOP OWNER
Fast fashion industry is considered to be the second most polluting industry in the world, the highest being fossil fuel. It takes as much as 946 liters of water to grow enough cotton for a pair of jeans and an average of 42 liters of water to achieve the typical faded appearance. In addition, other resources like chemicals, electricity and manpower are required in abundance.
"dwij", means second life (दà¥à¤µà¤¿ = Twice, ज = Born) in Sanskrit was founded with a mission to generate wealth by providing inclusive growth of society, using junk. At dwij, we rescue the jeans that would otherwise end up in landfill to make utility bags, thus reducing the dependency on virgin canvas, jute, plastic or synthetic bags. The goal is not only to create awareness about the drawbacks of fast fashion, but also to show the world that thorough washing procedure can transform a second hand textile into a material as hygiene as virgin textile.
SHIPPING POLICY
Please allow us 5-7 working days for processing and shipping the order. dwij will not take responsibility of delivery in case of incorrect or incomplete address. In case of shipping failure due to such reasons, dwij has the right to charge an additional shipping fee for reprocessing the delivery.
REFUND POLICY
Enormous efforts have been put to ensure that every old denim trouser in a satisfactory condition gets a new life. Please note that a faded appearance of any part of the bag is due to natural faded look of jeans, and not due to a manufacturing defect. Further, since the bags are upcycled using jeans, each bag may have differences in color and texture. Thus, the delivered product will not exactly match with the photographs published on the website. In case of any manufacturing defect other than the reasons mentioned above, dwij will provide a full refund for product cost including return shipping charges. Such returns must be made within 2 days of receiving the goods.
ADDITIONAL POLICY
Any cancellation of order or modification of shipping details may be accepted any time before we ship your order. We will not be able to process cancellation of the order in any other situation.
