Mausumi loves to play with the clay. A sculptor by passion she inherited her talent and interest in Clay Modelling from her father. Graduating from Government College of Art & Craft, Kolkata in 2007 with a Masters in Visual Arts, Mausumi has participated in more than 30 exhibitions and bagged about three awards so far. She had two solo exhibitions in 2011 and 2016 at the Academy of Fine Arts, Kolkata. Mausumi loves teaching, conducting workshops and creating the most innovative and unique sculptures using clay, ceramics, colors and mixed mediums. A Lalit Kala Akademi scholar, she has a special knack for Terracotta and glass.
