ABOUT SHOP OWNER
Rahul Gajjar is a Fine Art Photographer, with specialization in Architectural, Heritage, Environment and Wildlife subjects. He has extensively worked as a New Media Artist (Digital Art) having introduced the medium in India. His photographs and digital artworks have been exhibited worldwide. The main focus of his work has been photographically documenting the UNESCO World Heritage Site - Champaner-Pavagadh, over the last three decades, trying to capture its various moods in different seasons, at various times of the day and year. He has a collection of more than 50,000 images of the site. He is presently involved in documenting the 32 existing UNESCO World Heritage Sites of India. He has so far photographed 12 sites in India and three in Sri Lanka. In 2013, he was awarded the Gujarat Gaurav Puraskar by the Government of Gujarat for his contribution to Photography.
