INTRODUCTION
"The Craftsman" is started as an initiative to preserve the rich ancient heritage and culture of Orissa, by presenting the traditional handicraft products in contemporary style and market them to urban buyers. This helps create livelihood for artisans and thus preserve our traditional craft.
The products are designed based on the present market trends and also benefits in scaling up employment to the workers & artisans quietly perfecting the art for centuries.
"The Craftsman" is a fresh attempt, to make the dying crafts a part of urban household as a wearable or home decor art.
ABOUT SHOP OWNER
I am an Architect by profession and have started my own company in the name of The Craftsman, to provide a launchpad for my ideas in home decor and wearable essentials.
