The Indian Sparrow…born from a heart that nestles in the joys of rambling through the hinterlands of India, feathered with imagination, picking and bundling unassuming twigs and creating a nest, that cherishes the warmth and joy of these beautiful musings.....handcrafted joys...much love.
Creating twigs at my own pace in my nest, every twig is unique, As I create on a tiny birdie scale, the fabrics are created in tiny bundles and so are the twigs. :)
ABOUT SHOP OWNER
My fledgling days got me exploring and creating experimental embroideries for export houses, designers and working on the 40th anniversary Ralph Lauren collection, where my experiments with surface ornamentation's and accessories were picked up and appreciated.

I took off picking and curating twigs that I adored....and have finally launched my maiden twigs...my label of hand-loom inspired clothing...here I am creating twigs of imagination...just for you.

SHIPPING POLICY
Your bundle of twigs will take off within 2 working days after placing the order and will be nestled in with you within 4-5 days within the Indian skies :). In case of any turbulence in the weather, I will keep tracking your bundle and keep you informed of any delay, if at all :)
For purchases beyond the Indian skies, the bundle will take anywhere between 7- 15 working days to be nestled in with you.
The buyer has to bear the customs and any other additional costs according to the law of the land.
The shipping charges will be according to the weight of the twig and the destination.
REFUND POLICY
Handcrafted stories carry their own imperfections that make them unique. Every twig story is narrated in detail , in the description.
Please make an informed purchase to avoid any refund turbulence :)
The twig goes through a careful look before it takes off.
Just in case of a cloud sized error or defect, like size, open seams, unnatural stains, cuts, please inform me within 24 hours of receiving the twig and send it back to my nest within 2 working days with the garment tags intact, just as you received them, through a traceable courier service. In this case, where the error is caused from my side, the shipping charges for the replacement will be borne by me.
I will be happy to give you a credit note, less the original bundles courier charges, any additional cost incurred due to customs etc. You can use the credit note for purchasing my twigs at a later date. The courier cost for the twig you purchase in future will be borne by you.

ADDITIONAL POLICY
Handwoven and natural dyes are a beautiful story of slow, sustainable and unique twigs.
Each design aka "Twig" as I call it, has been handcrafted with a lot of thought and heart in it and developed at its own pace....making it one of a kind.
All the twigs are hand finished except a few that call for a machine finish as per the style.
Variations in the weave, color and technique are part of the whole handcrafted story....perfectly Imperfect it is! :)
My bundle of twigs are dispatched through a trusted messenger...who has landed them safely in their nests always :)
Each bundle will be wrapped within a handmade wrap, along with a little handwritten note, tucked in for you :)
If you desire to be feathered in a particular style that has been sold out aka 'embraced' , I will be happy to make one for you in your birdie size , either with the same fabric or with the ones nestled in at present :)
