Ashi means smile. It stands for my commitment towards putting that smile on your face through beauty; beauty which is a result of merging of imagination, clay, fire, colours and art which results in a pot. A pot inspired by nature, its various hues and moods, fluid in style and unique in its stand. Each handcrafted piece of clay is so unique that it cannot be recreated though it might belong to a family of pots which share similar characteristics.

Ashi’s credo has always been to find beauty in imperfection. She loves to treat each of her pot as an
individual work of art and not a piece on an assembly line. This result in her jovial disregard to strict
processes and procedures, which is essential to enable creativity express itself fully. Also, due to the
minimally processed clay and other ingredients; there are occasionally small rocks, fissures, iron
specks; none of which compromise the functionality of the pot. All the pots are dishwasher & microwave safe.
