ZI is a slow fashion handcrafted jewellery label, that makes for wearable art. Drawing inspiration from India's kitsch culture, our designs focus on making quirky jewellery with a contemporary aesthetic. From bead embroidery to fossilised sea shells, and even real embalmed flowers, our products are intricately made, all by hand. ABOUT SHOP OWNER
I'm a jewellery designer and mixed media artist from Mumbai.
Being a self-taught artist, I used my imagination to knit my first pair of earrings. When they became a hit, I started an Instagram page. Eventually I quit my job to pursue ZI, and my passion project grew to become a full-fledged label.
ZI is a handcrafted slow fashion art jewellery label, that was born from my love for DIY craft.
I use threads, beads, dried flowers, shells - anything that catches my fancy, and connect them to create jewellery.
