Being an Air Force officer’s daughter, I grew up in places which were always closer to nature & surrounded by trees, shrubs, climbers and flowers. Due to our constant travels, I have also seen the amazing and varying flora of the different regions of our country. From gathering pine cones and cedar roses on family holidays to collecting all kinds of pods, seeds & flowers on hot afternoons during summer vacations, I’ve always been surrounded by an array of botanicals. Despite a successful corporate career, I always felt a little restlessness & a desire to do something more fulfilling. I realised that my calling lay in being close to plants & flowers. After 14 years of working in the corporate world, I finally took the plunge and started my own venture, 'ForestKraft'. Beautiful botanical materials gathered from the forests of India are innovatively turned into charming home decorations at ForestKraft. Earthy textures, forestry feels, bursts of colour – all come together
