Studio Taama is the beginning of my journey into the world of crafts and textiles, after 18 years of experience as a design professional in the corporate world. My love for handloom and weaves and the intent of venturing into an area I am deeply passionate about, led me to finally step out for this exciting new venture. "Taama" derived from Tamra in sanskrit, meaning copper,is inspired from the its earthy nature and understated lustre. Our collections are inspired from the rich heritage of textiles and crafts of India and beyond, with an attempt to keep our look simple, elegant and classic.
