Shruti Deora is first, an art lover, and then an artist. Her interest in the arts sprang at a young age and she used her natural instincts to transform this interest into visible pieces at home. Overcoming inhibitions of not being a professional artist, and encouragement from a small group of art patrons, provided the much-needed push. Shruti is a full-time e-commerce professional with several years of experience in the industry. She carves out time to do what she loves best—create beautiful artwork. The art series - 'My Experiments with Caffeine', took birth when the artist combined the techniques of stained glass painting with coffee painting and tea staining. The base of the paintings range from glass, plastic sheets to varied thickness and types of paper. A nature lover, she has covered flora and fauna in this series, along with some, abstract patterns. She believes that a good piece of art does not have to be expensive and more people should be able to own and appreciate it.
