Deepali Jain, 38 years old, brought up in Delhi. Now staying in Gurgaon.
Born in a handicraft family and surrounded by artwork, I had always been inclined to art. My art journey began when I had moved to Hong Kong, and leart the xie yi style, or the freehand style of Chinese painting, for about 10 yrs, at hong kong Art Centre under Mr Foo sai heng.
After returning to India, i completed a one year diploma course from DCA. I love to travel and observe different art and architecture from around the globe and translate them onto my canvases.
I try to use elements of chinese painting in acrylic. Most of my works are done in bold black in monochromatic scheme of colours, just how we do in chinese painting.
